The Sundar Kand is the fifth book of the Ramayana, centred on Hanuman and his fearless devotion to Lord Rama. The Sundarkand Path is its devotional recitation — often sung (sangeetmay) — accompanied by a Chola Shringar Seva (the adorning of Hanuman). It is performed to dispel worry and mental agony, build courage and confidence, and invite Hanuman's protective grace.

Sundarkand is commonly recited on Tuesdays or Saturdays (sacred to Hanuman), but can be held on most days; the right time is recommended during the free consultation. A few days' lead time helps arrange reciters/musicians and Samagri.
