A melodious recitation of the Sundar Kand — the chapter of Hanuman's devotion and courage from the Ramayana — for strength, confidence and relief from worry.
Performed by Certified Gurukul Scholars
The Sundar Kand is the fifth book of the Ramayana, centred on Hanuman and his fearless devotion to Lord Rama. The Sundarkand Path is its devotional recitation — often sung (sangeetmay) — accompanied by a Chola Shringar Seva (the adorning of Hanuman). It is performed to dispel worry and mental agony, build courage and confidence, and invite Hanuman's protective grace.
Families perform it to relieve worry, fear and mental agony; build courage, confidence and resolve; vercome a difficult or unlucky phase.
Sundarkand is commonly recited on Tuesdays or Saturdays (sacred to Hanuman), but can be held on most days; the right time is recommended during the free consultation. A few days' lead time helps arrange reciters/musicians and Samagri.
Our scholar arrives with all the puja Samagri. You only arrange a few household items and a clean space — nothing to source or worry about.
